A new report from market research firm Timetric indicates that the number of international arrivals
to Hungary is expected to grow at an annual rate of 2.91 percent, reaching 12 million by 2017.
Germany and Austria are key source markets, but visitors from China, Brazil and India have been
increasing—a trend that is expected to continue over the next three years.
Arrivals from the U.S. are expected to grow from las year's total of 402,300 to 446,100 in 2017, an average annual increase of 2.4 percent.
As noted elsewhere on this page, Budapest is already very popular with river cruise guests.
